| · Can I listen through a firewall?
Yes, the stream should be delivered to you in most cases, even through a firewall.
If you are using a home DSL firewall, or control the one at work, you can set it to trust 209.70.46.6 for UDP packets to ensure access to the station.

| · Is there anything I can do to my RealPlayer to make it work better? If you are having trouble keeping a steady, long-term Hober stream, Real Networks has suggested several changes you can make in your Player preferences which might help.
Please make only one change at a time and let gregor know if any particular step helped you to tune in better.
Check Your Connection Rate in Preferences
Hober broadcasts at two bitrates: 16kbps for modems and 64 kbps for broadband connections. The server automatically senses your capacity by checking the 'Connection' setting in your RealPlayer, and sends the proper stream.
- On the RealPlayer, pull down the 'View' menu.
- Select 'Preferences' (the last choice on the menu).
- Click on the 'Connection' Tab.
- There is a selector for 'Normal bandwidth' and 'Maximum bandwidth'. Check that these are both set to the speed of your modem, or one notch lower.
- Click 'OK' and restart the Hober stream.
Check Video Compatibility in Preferences
- On the RealPlayer, pull down the 'View' menu.
- Select 'Preferences' (the last choice on the menu).
- Click on the 'Performance' Tab.
- Uncheck the box on the bottom labeled 'Use optimized video display'.
- Click 'OK' and restart the Hober stream.
Disable the StartCenter
- On the RealPlayer, pull down the 'View' menu.
- Select 'Preferences' (the last choice on the menu).
- Click on the 'General' Tab.
- Click on the button labeled 'Settings' in the StartCenter area.
- Uncheck the box labeled 'Enable StartCenter'.
- Click 'OK' and reboot your computer before starting Hober.
Use the Minimum Resources
- This helps on some older and slower machines.
- Stop using or disable EQ,
- Click on the 'Performance' Tab.
- Uncheck the box on the bottom labeled 'Use optimized video display'.
- Click 'OK' and restart the Hober stream.
