Pamela Ciconte (singer/songwriter/guitarist/violinist/percussionist) has been
performing professionally for about a year. Her strong vocal talents include
many different styles — most notably opera.
Ren Rick (singer/songwriter/guitarist/percussionist) has been singing with
various local bands and on-stage in musical theater since the early nineties —
performing at outdoor music festivals in the MD-VA-WVA area, and local
nightclubs.
Stacey Silvermoon (singer/songwriter/guitarist/percussionist) most recently
performed as a soloist — before deciding to collaborate with ren and Pamela.
While at college in Oregon, Stacey studied African drumming and she brings
these skills with her to the stage as well.
As a group, these three women use thier different styles and experiences to
weave a unique blend of harmony and songcrafting.
"[roots a'risin's] music is as colorful and ecclectic as the performers
themselves! It was a thoroughly enjoyable musical experience, multiplied by
the band's commitment to the community."
Michele Baylin, Center Stage
Marketing Associate
"Very spiritual music reminiscent of several Rainbow Gatherings I've been to."
